I finished this F-105 with non buffing Metalizer polished lightly and sealed
with clear. The markings are Super Scale. The stand is made from a solid
piece of aluminum. I loaded it with wing tanks and a centerline tank for ferry
flight configuration.
61-0169 was shot down on 10/28/67 by AAA over NVN while serving with the
357 TFS/355 TFW. Lt. Col. T. Kirk, Squadron CO, ejected and was taken
prisoner.
