|Capt. Ben Fuhrman took his last flight in F-105s in this F-105D.
62-4270 was lost on 29 March1969 flying with the 34 TFS, 388 TFW, Korat. Flown by 1Lt. R. Stafford
during a Steel Tiger mission. A strike on a road intersection 25 miles southeast of Saravan, 1Lt. R.
Stafford was on his fourth pass when his aircraft was hit by AAA at 9,000 feet. He ejected a few miles
away from his target and was later rescued by a USAF helicopter.
The legend ‘Noli Non Legitime Carbor Undem Est’ was intended to translate as “Don’t let the bastards
grind you down”!

|How I packed it to get to Capt. Ben Fuhrman in Mesa, AZ from Denver, NC in one piece. I did double
|F-105D Combat Weapons Load made by Cobra Company is what I used for the Weapons.
Includes two M118 3000# Bombs, Fuses, Wing Pylons with Sway Braces and Centerline Fuel
Tank. It is still available and the only show in Town for the M118 3000# bombs.
As with all resin accessories, they are made for experienced modelers. If you're one of them and
want to do something different, I would recommend these.
