When Monogram originally released this kit I did it silver with the gear down and
drivers. Basically out of the box. It wasn't one of my best modeling jobs so it was
relegated to laying in a box along with some other early rejects. I figured I'd do it
over as a desktop. Serials were drawn with Corel and printed with an Alps. Rest of
the markings came from spares box. I'm not sure it ever wore the tail markings but
they look cool anyway. Finished with Plasti-kote 387 Aluminum.
62-4412 was first assigned to the 4520 CCTW, Nellis AFB, 11 June 1963. She crashed
on the 17 January 1966 at Tyndall AFB, FL. I do not know the details of the crash,
unit it was with or the fate of the crew.
