MB MkH7 Duplicate Seat Parts
Replica parts are cast in urothane resin using molds made from original Martin Baker
parts.
The resin is extremely durable. They are complete with all labels, fittings and
mounting hardware, when necessary, ready to go right on your seat.
You can't tell the
duplicate from an original on the seat.
Drogue Tube and Slug. This piece is usually removed or cut when they Demil the seat.
If the tube is missing so is the slug. I cast them together so you don't have to go out and
try and find/buy the slug. As you can see, it will screw right into the gun. I believe this
unit may also fit other model Martin Baker seats but I'm not sure.
Inertia Reel Gas Generator. This piece is always removed when they Demil the seat as
it is an explosive device. They usually leave the clamps. It mounts behind the Parachute
Back Plate and connects to the Inertia Reel and the hose that connects to the rear
bulkhead in the cockpit. As you can see, it fits right on the seat.

M3A2 Seat Mounted Canopy Initiator. Another piece that is always removed when
they Demil the seat as it is also an explosive device. It mounts on a bracket attached to the
top of the Catapult Tube. When the seat is mounted in the jet a hose attaches to the fitting
and connects somewhere in the cockpit. As you can see, it fits right on the seat. The
Cockpit Mounted Canopy Initiator, it mounts on the back cockpit bulkhead to the left of
the seat, is the same unit.

Early Ejection Seats used in the Century Series jets, F-105, F-106, etc. and probably
some other early jets, used M3 and M3A1 devices to automatically release belts and
such. These look identical to the M3A2. The insides were different and they have a
different label. I can put any label you want on them.
